Halloween in France is not as celebrated as in the States or UK. Children dress up and visit their neighbours.
They don’t actually say ‘trick or treat’ in French, they say “Halloween”. I guess it is easier to say!!

Thankfully, Reformation Day is also October 31st, so there is something more positive for us to focus on than all the scary stuff. The sermon at church was on that topic. My wife plays Christmas music to chase away the dark spirits of Halloween in America.
